The American Dream: On How to Work Yourself Stupid.

Whew! What a summer! Blogging (as well as sleeping, breathing, and having a normal social life) have had to kinda go on the back burner for the last few months in order to stay sane while working not one, not two, but three (maybe even three and a half) jobs.

Why would anyone do that? You ask? Well, it all started as wanting to get a little extra cash here and there, and maybe get to play with some bikes, and turned into WAYYY too much. But life is settling down with the changing of seasons, and I'm ready to get back into the groove.

SO, there will be a total deluge of posts over the next couple days (hours) of stuff I've been saving up. But for now, a little self indulgent recap of my life for the last couple months.

My three jobs:

1.  (Of course) working for the Ski Club, and MAN are these kids gonna do some crushing this year.

2. Podium Sports in Frisco, working as a mechanic, salesman, and general scallywag.

3. Devil's Thumb Ranch as a zip-line guide.

Driving and working at DTR was the kicker of the thing, as 20 hours of working sandwiched between 1.5-2 hour drives was brutal on top of two other jobs. BUT, that's over now, so I finally get a chance to breathe a bit.

Yesterday I took what was probably my second fun little day trip of the summer down to Lair O' The Bear park by Evergreen, and rode some awesome singletrack with some cool new friends. If you haven't ridden there, it's pretty sweet.

Other than that, it's been a pretty quiet summer, I haven't really had any fun at all, as evidenced by the following pictures:
