No Bacon Necessary: On Beauty

"They" say that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." While I would have to say I agree with that statement in general (when presented with a "supermodel," all I want to do is feed her bacon), there are some things which I can't help but think transcend perspective and aesthetic "taste."

While driving home today as the sun went down, I thought, what the hell, why not take a seat?

While sitting there, a cop pulled over (I was parked right next to where they wait for speeders), and walks up to me, asking: "You OK sir?"

"Never better:"

And while the ensuing sunset was not the best I've seen up here, it sure didn't suck.

I've lived in Summit County, Colorado for almost 2 years now. When I moved here, I was blown away by the view. And while in some ways I've grown accustomed to being here, there are still moments that take my effing breath away.

No Bacon Needed

Note: None of these pictures have been doctored, photoshopped, instagrammed, or any of that silly bullshit. They were also ALL taken with my phone.
